Eddie Rohan Set to Play in Las Vegas

After spending most of the 2012 season on the Disabled List, Eddie Rohan has found his way to Las Vegas to play for the Mets’ Triple-A team, the 51’s. The former Ursuline grad only had 13 plate appearances a year ago; however, the catching prospect will be rubbing shoulders with two of New York’s prized minor league possessions – Travis d’Arnaud (C) and Zach Wheeler (P). Las Vegas is managed by former Met Wally Backman.

On Thursday, April 4 the 51’s will travel to Sacramento to open the 2013 season.
