A Youngstown man accused in a 2009 South Side shooting was indicted Thursday on charges of attempted murder and felonious assault, both with a firearm specification.

Cametrius Adams, 35, originally was indicted in August 2009, along with co-defendant Jamond Robinson, 23. According to the Mahoning County Prosecutor’s Office, one of the victims in the case, Aaron Wright, could not be located and the case was dismissed without prejudice on Nov. 5, meaning the charges could be refiled.

Assistant Mahoning County Prosecutor Becky Doherty said Wright was recently located. Robinson has pleaded guilty to the charges and is awaiting sentencing.

Police said Adams shot Ameickca Brown and her brother, Aaron Wright, on the afternoon of July 11, 2009, near the corner of East Lucius Avenue and Rush Boulevard.  Brown was shot in the chest, and Wright was shot in the leg.
