Philly student reports being kidnapped, raped

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia police are searching for four men who allegedly kidnapped and raped a La Salle University student on Easter.

WCAU-TV reports ( ) the 20-year-old woman says she was walking about a mile off-campus around 10 p.m. Sunday when a black van pulled up beside her and four men jumped out. Police say the men took the woman to an undisclosed location and raped her repeatedly, before dropping her off at another location and fleeing.

A university spokesman says school officials have met with the student and offered support.

Investigators believe the suspects are between the ages of 20 and 25 and that one of them had the tattoo “MM” on his face.
