Valley Golf Courses Open for Business

Golfers are set to hit the links in Boardman and Youngstown.

The North Course Golf Course at Mill Creek Park officially opened to golfers for the season Friday.

The Par 3 course along with the tennis courts and ball fields also are open. Golfers also had an opportunity to visit the pro shop and Hole 37 snack bar as well.  The South Course and the batting cages will open as weather permits.

In Youngtown, the golf season also started at 8 a.m. as the Youngstown Department of Parks and Recreation opened the Henry Stambaugh Golf Course for the season.

Golfers were out working on their swings at the Gypsy Lane course.  Discounted rates will be available weekdays from 8 a.m. until noon.
