A brush fire grew out of control in northern Trumbull County Saturday night.

Fire crews were still on the scene as of 11 p.m. in Johnston Township.

Brisk winds and dry conditions fueled the flames of the burning brush in the woods off of Route 193, north of Bradlee-Browlee Road.

The fire is about a half mile off the road, which created access problems for firefighting equipment.  Also, burning embers flying out of the flames started other fires in the immediate area.
