Child Found Alone, Barefoot in Youngstown

A mother is facing child endangerment charges after a young child was found Saturday wandering around Youngstown’s East Side.

A driver on Route 422 in Youngstown called police after finding a young child walking around the road without shoes.

The driver dropped the child off at police headquarters just after noon Saturday.

Youngstown police officers were able to locate the boy’s mother who now faces charges.

Children Services was notified.  The boy did not appear to be harmed.
