Widespread Power Outages Reported in Trumbull County

More than 6,000 customers were without power in Trumbull County Saturday afternoon.

Power in several parts of the county including Vienna, Liberty and Brookfield went out around 3 p.m.

Robin Patton with First Energy said the outage was caused by a tree that fell on a transmission line in Vienna.

Service was restored in Liberty around 3:30 p.m. Brookfield and Vienna customers are still without power. Patton said power should be completely restored by 5:30.
