Warren police were called to a disturbance Monday morning involving a naked woman.

Police were called to Washington Street around 9:30 a.m. for a report of a naked woman running with scissors.  When they arrived, they found toilet paper and garbage thrown all over the driveway to a nearby car wash.

The woman’s clothes were found on the sidewalk.  Pastor Derrick Scott of the Alpha Omega Ministries said the woman began to throw things out of a busted out window of her apartment before she decided to undress.

“I think this is a sad day for the mental health community because we have people that need help and I think we have turned our backs on so many that we needed to reach out to from a long-term standpoint versus a short-term fix,” Scott said.

The woman was taken away by ambulance for a mental evaluation.
