Restaurant Chain Donates $6,000 to Local Charities

Three local restaurant chains donated $6,000 to two local nonprofit organizations.

As part of Darden’s Restaurant Community Grants program, Red Lobster in Niles and Hermitage and Long Horn Steakhouse in Boardman awarded $4,000 to the Second Harvest Food Bank . Red Lobster and Olive Garden, both  in Boardman awarded $2,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Youngstown.

The Darden Foundation has awarded $1.9 million to more than 855 nonprofit organizations across North America focusing on programs in post-secondary education, preservation of natural resources and hunger.
