Crump Leads Boardman Past GlenOak

Eddie Crump went 3-4 with two RBIs to lead Boardman past GlenOak, 8-7, in high schoool baseball action on Tuesday afternoon.

Johnny Diamond also had a strong day at the plate for the Spartans going 2-4 with a pair of runs scored.

Boardman pitcher Scott Lendak picked up the win on the mound, while Aaron Dill recorded the save.

The Spartans improve to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in league play. Boardman returns to action Thursday at home against GlenOak. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Boardman High School.
