Home Savings Donates $6K to Animal Charity

Man’s best friend got a big boost from Home Savings and Loan on Tuesday. The Mahoning County office handed over a $6,100 check to Animal Charity.

Last month, Home Savings and Loan hosted a bake sale to benefit the facility. Animal Charity representative Talia Musolini said they see an increasing need to house both cats and dogs, and this money will help them meet that need.

“The biggest thing we’re looking to do is increase our capacity. Get more cages, both for cats and dogs,” said Musolini. “So, we’re able to take in more animals and help more animals make the environment a little better for them.”

Home Savings raised $1,000 more than they did last year at the bake sale.
