An Amish man will spend the next two years behind bars for inappropriate contact with a 10-year-old girl.

Ervin Kempf, 28,  was sentenced Thursday in Trumbull County Court.

The West Farmington man pleaded guilty to two counts of gross sexual imposition.

Prosecutors said the incidents with Kempf  and the girl took place in July of 2011.

When Kempf is released, he will have to register as a Tier III sex offender, which means he must register with the county sheriff every 90 days for the remainder of his life.
