Cardinal Mooney product Braylon Heard has decided to transfer to Kentucky.

The former Cardinal spent two seasons at Nebraska with the last one being his most productive. He carried the ball 52 times for 357 rushing yards and three touchdowns for the Cornhuskers last season.

Heard will sit out this season and have two seasons of eligibility remaining for the Wildcats. Coincidentally, Heard will be playing for another Cardinal Mooney alum, Mark Stoops. Stoops was hired at Kentucky in November 2012. Heard also played for a Mooney alum at Nebraska, Bo Pelini.

Heard, a sophomore last year for the Cornhuskers, also considered transferring to Pittsburgh.
