Tire Slashing Suspects Caught in Warren

Since the beginning of the month, those who park in a downtown Warren parking garage have reported problems to police.

Surveillance pictures taken from a security camera inside the Franklin Street parking deck reveals the culprits in the disturbances. On Thursday night, police said they caught the teenagers.

Police said three teenagers, two boys and a girl, on bikes, have been slashing tires and busting out windows and lights.

In one picture, it appears two of the teens are passing a knife between each other.

Warren 4th Ward Councilman Greg Bartholomew is one of those who had his tires slashed.

“It’s an asset to the city and we want people to use it. It has to be safe,” said Bartholomew.
