Students Visit Youngstown Symphony

Youngstown Symphony Youth Day
Students from across the area enjoyed a Youngstown Symphony performance created just for them.

Nearly 4,000 students from across the Valley enjoyed a musical performance created just for them on Thursday.

Youngstown Symphony Orchestra Musical Director Randall Craig Fleischer conducted the performance.  He and his wife created the hour-long performance to introduce kids to the symphony and open the door to the world of symphonic music so they may be able to enjoy the music as they grow older.

The theme of the show focused on composers who have created music about planets and stars.
