Eric had pitched in three contests at the Brewers’ Single-A affiliate, Brevard County, this year. He registered an ERA of 1.59 in 5.2 innings of work, striking out 5 and not allowing a free pass.

Huntsville is managed by former big leaguer Darnell Coles. The team features players who are on Milwaukee’s 40-man roster (pitchers Santo Manzanillo and Ariel Pena, shortstop Jeff Bianchi).
