Mathews Softball Stays Unbeaten

Mathews’ softball team rallied to defeat Pennsylvania state power Fort Leboeuf, 3-2, Saturday afternoon.

Maddie Williams clutch two-run double in the bottom of the sixth inning gave the Mustangs the 3-2 lead.  Cheyenne Eggins made the one run advantage stand up on the mound.  She finished with 10 strikeouts to record the win.

Jessica Marsico and Maddi Grimes both had outstanding efforts defensively.

Mathews improved its overall record to 5-0.
