Youngstown Police Investigate Incident on LaClede Avenue

Police Investigate Incident
One person was taken to the hospital with cuts on his legs from LaClede Avenue in Youngstown.

Numerous police and first responders showed up Saturday on LaClede Avenue in Youngstown.

Around 6 p.m. a man was seen being helped on to a stretcher.

Reports said Kevin Huggins, 37, of Youngstown, said he met up with a woman for sex, and ended up being duct-taped and beaten.

He told police that the woman had set him up. When he and the woman entered the home, two men greeted him with shotguns.

Huggins said the suspects tied him up with tape and beat him in a quest to find money.

Police caught the suspects at Huggins’ house, a few blocks away, after they broke in and tried stealing $13,000.

The suspects face burglary, kidnapping and robbery charges.
