Church Recognizes Teachers’ Work with Students

Nevels Temple Church in Youngstown showed its appreciation to the teachers with a special Bless the Teacher Worship Service.

Teachers from across the Valley came out to be a part of the Sunday event.

Bishop Nevels prayed a blessing over the educators, that God will continue to bless and strengthen them to be able to serve the children throughout the Valley.

“There’s not much accolades that are given to educators for what we do, and we really appreciate that them blessing us and recognizing us,” said East High School teach Traci Cain.

Bishop Nevels plans to make the Bless the Teachers service an annual event.

“I’m thrilled to be here today to celebrate that God allowed us to work in this profession so we can make a difference,” added Holly Welch of Choffin Career and Technical Center.
