The Liberty H&R Block office has advised that taxpayers have all of their proper paper work in order before going file taxes Monday.
Taxpayers must bring W-2’s, as well as retirement statements and savings documents, plus any documents dealing with property taxes.
For those who cannot beat the deadline, they can still file for an extension.
“What’s real important is this: If you file an extension, that doesn’t mean that you don’t have to pay by the 15th,” said H&R Block marketing coordinator, Mary Williams. “If you feel you have to owe the IRS any monies, you’ve got to pay that by tomorrow.”
Taxpayers must have their taxes in the mail by midnight on Monday.
