Former Trumbull County Judge Passes Away

A former Trumbull County judge has passed away.

Former Judge David McLain served as a common pleas court judge from 1968 to 1987. Prior to 1968, McLain served as the Trumbull County prosecutor. He was 84.

According to a tribute in the Warren Tribune Chronicle, McLain returned to private practice in 1987. In 1993 he began serving by assignment by the Ohio Supreme Court in Trumbull and Mahoning counties, retiring in 1999.

McLain earned his Juris Doctorate, Law Degree from Harvard Law School at Cambridge, Mass.

A memorial service will be held for him on Wednesday in Warren.
