Couple Escapes Ellsworth Fire

A fire broke out Tuesday in Ellsworth.

Firefighters are looking into what caused a Tuesday morning fire in Ellsworth Township.

The fire ignited at about 5 a.m. in the 1200 block of Palmyra Road. A man and woman who lived in the home for 25 years escaped unharmed.

The inside of the home sustained smoke and heat damage, officials said.
