Adrienne Toth, who is battling breast cancer, gave birth to a baby boy on Wednesday.

After battling breast cancer while pregnant for the past eight months, Adrienne Toth of Sharon gave birth to a baby boy early Wednesday.

Kellan Dean Toth was born about four weeks early at a Pittsburgh hospital and weighed in at 5 pounds, 7 ounces. Adrienne and the baby are doing well, according to her husband, Dean.

The couple found out in the same week that they were expecting their first child and Adrienne was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. She has been receiving chemotherapy and will undergo a double mastectomy soon. She also will undergo a series of tests to see if the cancer has spread because doctors were unable to do so while she was pregnant.
