Woman shot in face on Columbus bus

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – Police say someone fired shots at a city bus in Columbus, and a woman passenger was hit in the face.

It happened Tuesday afternoon north of downtown. Columbus police say they think 39-year-old Amy Develvis was just in the wrong place at the wrong time when she was hit in the face with one of several shots fired at the city bus.

She was taken to a hospital and was reported to be in critical condition.

Police are looking for a red Chevrolet Impala that was seen by witnesses leaving the scene.
