Howland to Hire Menendez as Football Coach

A source close to the program confirms today that Dominic Menendez will be the next head football coach at Howland High School.

Menendez, an Ursuline grad, has been an assistant coach for the last 15 years under Dick Angle, serving in nearly every role as defensive coordinator, offensive coordinator, and special teams coach during that span. He has also been instrumental in the Tiger’s weight program.

Menendez will inherit a program that went 8-3 last season and has qualified for the playoffs each of the six years.

Menendez is expected to be officially approved by the school board on Monday of next week.
