Youngstown Woman Bit by K-9 in Campbell

Woman Bit By Police Dog
Campbell Police Department's police dog, Storm, bit a Youngstown woman on her hip at the scene of an accident Wednesday night.

A Youngstown woman was bit by a police dog responding to a car accident in Campbell.

The incident occurred Wednesday around 4:45 p.m. on Gladstone Street.

Witnesses said there was an accident when a car backing out of a driveway hit another car coming down the street.

Campbell police responded to the accident, along with their K-9, Storm.

While checking on the scene, Storm managed to get out of the car and ran towards the assembled group of people.  According to the police report, Storm bit Angela Moore, 31, on her hip.

The police report went on to say that K-9 Storm has never displayed any abnormal aggression towards anyone.

Moore was treated at the scene by emergency personnel, but refused to be taken to the hospital.
