Brown Murder Trial Delayed Again

For the second time in two years, a Mahoning County murder case has been forced to stop soon after getting started.

Paul Brown is charged in the shooting death of Ashten Jackson during a botched robbery in 2009.

Jury selection got underway earlier this week, only to come to a halt Friday when defense attorneys asked for more time to prepare.

The case has been continued until May.

Last year, Judge Maureen Sweeney declared a mistrial over concerns about evidence that had been with held by investigators.
