Last Day for Downtown Cafe

A downtown Youngstown restaurant closed its doors for good Saturday after more than seven years serving the Valley.

Folks came out for the final night at Cafe Cimmento.

The restaurant started running out of food and supplies Friday night, so Saturday customers were enjoying drinks and cheese plates in the bar area.

Owner George Mager said he’s grown tired of the business. He said a recent dining room expansion and competition from other downtown bars and restaurants cut into his bottom line.
