The Phantoms defeated the Gamblers, 3-1, and are advancing to the second round of the Clark Cup Playoffs.
For the fourth time in the series, Youngstown had to play from behind. After not scoring in the first period and trailing 1-0, Luke Stork tied the game up at 1 midway through the second period.
Cam Brown would give the Phantoms a 2-1 lead with just over 5 minutes to go in the game, and they would not look back. With thirty seconds left to play, Alexander Dahl flipped the puck off the board and scored on the empty net to end the game and the series.
