1 dead, 1 wounded in Cincinnati shooting

CINCINNATI (AP) — Police in Cincinnati say a man is suspected of killing one person and wounding another in a shooting at an apartment complex.

Officers said they found two shooting victims in the parking lot of the apartment complex northwest of downtown Sunday afternoon.

They say 25-year-old Lionel Phillips was dead at the scene, and another man was hospitalized in serious condition. His name hasn’t been released.

The suspect — 27-year-old Ronald Williams — surrendered to police and was being held on weapons charges. More charges are expected as the investigation continues.

Williams was in jail Monday. Online records didn’t include attorney information.
