Gatta Leads McDonald Past Lowellville

McDonald Pitcher Leigh Gatta struck out five batters in five innings to lead the Blue Devils to a 16-5 win over Lowellville on Monday.

Gatta also had a big game at the plate with two hits and two RBI’s.

Kerrigan McDermott finished with three hits and two RBI’s, while Jen Golden also drove in a pair of runs in the victory.

The Blue Devils improve to 3-7 on the season, and return to action Tuesday on the road at Lowellville.
