Daughtry, whose lead singer Chris Daughtry made it to the top 10 in the fifth season of “American Idol,” will play a concert July 29 at the Covelli Centre.
The band will co-headline with 3 Doors Down and the opening act will be Oleander.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. May 10, with venue pre-sale on May 9. Ticket prices are $35, $45 and $55.

Chris Daughtry came in fourth place on the fifth season of “American Idol,” which was won by Taylor Hicks. Daughtry has released three CDs, with the most recent one “Break the Spell” being released in 2011.
3 Doors Down was the first headliner at the Covelli Centre and Daughtry played the arena in 2009.
3 Doors Down bassist Todd Harrell was arrested on a charge of vehicular homicide in Nashville on Friday after hitting a pickup, which then hit a guardrail and went down an embankment, killing the driver. Police said he was drunk at the time. Several entertainment websites are reporting that Harrell has entered rehab.
