Firefighters Battle Hubbard Fire

A fire in Hubbard took the lives a few  family pets on Thursday.

Firefighters in Hubbard battled the blaze at 5954 Washington Ave. S.E., which was reported at about 9:45 a.m.

The home was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrive. Responders said no one was home at the time but family pets died in the fire.

Firefighters from Hubbard, Coitsville, Liberty, Brookfield and the U.S. Air Force station helped with the blaze.
