Some former employees of Fuddruckers restaurant in the Eastwood mall are saying the owner owes them money.
The restaurant has been closed since April 14, and a confidential source, someone who worked at the eatery, said that the employees’ final paychecks all bounced.
The last operator, Andberco Ohio Inc., could not be reached for comment, but an official with the Cafaro Co., which leases the building space, confirmed that the former operator did not meet the conditions of his lease, but he could not go into further detail.
It is confirmed that the restaurant is in proper working condition, and that the Cafaro Co. is now looking for a new operator.
Check back here for continuing coverage and information as to if and when the employees will receive their pay.
