Marsico Leads Mathews to Victory in 10 Innings

Mathews softball team defeated Bristol on Thursday, 4-3, in 10 innings.

Jessica Marsico plated the winning run on an RBI single in the bottom of the 10th. Marsico also hit a two-run home run in the 3rd inning to give the Mustangs a 3-1 lead.

Bristol tied the game in the 6th inning. Kylie Stoneman and Ashlyn Slusher garnered the RBIs that tied the game at 3-3.

Mathews improves to 11-3 on the year, 9-0 in the Northeastern Buckeye Conference.
