Pa. college student injured in fall from building

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Authorities say an eastern Pennsylvania college student has been injured after falling three stories from a building on campus.

The incident happened Wednesday afternoon at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia.

Officials say the male student fell from a third-story outside stairwell.

He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where his condition was not immediately available.

WPVI-TV ( reports the school released a statement saying, “We urge all the members of the College community and the public to keep this student and his family in our thoughts and prayers at this time.”

The incident remains under investigation.
