Philly police seek info about kids with gun

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia police investigating an alleged assault on a 27-year-old man are asking for the public’s help in identifying some boys caught on surveillance video brandishing a handgun.

Video shows a boy pointing a gun at a girl around 6:25 p.m. Monday before an older boy takes the weapon. The video shows an older boy walking on Ontario Street, dropping to one knee and pointing the gun at a group of males. He runs toward them, joins the group, then they all jump on the hood of an SUV.

Police said the group was in the 3300 block of North 16th Street about 6:45 p.m. Thursday when someone pointed a gun at the man and said: “Hey, buddy.” The man ran into a house and called 911.
