Teen killed, 3 injured in drive-by Pa. shooting

CHESTER, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say gunfire has claimed two lives in a violence-plagued city near Philadelphia, including a drive-by shooting that left one teenager dead and several other people injured.

Police told WCAU-TV that a vehicle pulled up next to a group standing on a Chester street corner at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday and several people inside fired more than 20 rounds.

A 17-year-old male shot in the head was pronounced dead Crozier Chester Medical Center. Three others were also injured, including a 40-year-old man apparently hit by a stray bullet as he was walking to a nearby store.

The Delaware County Daily Times says police are also investigating the shooting death early Saturday of 40-year-old Robert Morris. The county medical examiner’s office says he died of shotgun wounds on a Chester street.
