MVOC Holds Candidate Forum

With the primary election just a week away, how do the mayoral candidates stand on neighborhood issues?

The Mahoning Valley Organizing Collaborative held a neighborhood agenda forum Monday at the Union Baptist Church on Youngstown’s North Side.  The candidates were asked questions about vacant properties and foreclosures, economic development and the fracking issue that’s on the ballot.

The group wants enforcement of housing codes and to rid blight in the neighborhoods.
