Suspect sought in stabbings at Pa. house party

NEW TRIPOLI, Pa. (AP) — Police say they are searching for a suspect in connection with the stabbings of five people at a house party in eastern Pennsylvania.

State police say it happened after several fights broke out during a large party in Lynn Township early Saturday. Five people were stabbed or slashed and investigators say the unknown suspect fled.

The victims included a 17-year-old boy, a 26-year-old man, two 25-year-old men and a 19-year-old woman. Their conditions and the extent of their injuries weren’t immediately known.

Police say they are searching for the suspect, but didn’t immediately give a possible motive. The investigation is ongoing.
