Ex-Little League OH official sentenced to 6 months

HAMILTON, Ohio (AP) — A former Ohio Little League baseball administrator has been sentenced to six months in jail for child pornography.

Fifty-year-old Roger Fox Jr. of Hamilton was sentenced Monday in Butler County. Common Pleas Judge Patricia Oney (OH’-nee) also sentenced him to five years of probation, ordered sex offender treatment, and barred him from unsupervised contact with unrelated minors.

Fox earlier pleaded guilty to seven child pornography counts. He could have been sentenced to eight years or more in prison.

The Hamilton JournalNews reports (http://bit.ly/ZxuPgp ) that his attorney says Fox takes full responsibility and pledges it won’t happen again. Authorities say the images involved were computer-generated.

Fox’s youth baseball role included setting up Little League tournaments in the southwest Ohio region.
