Feds involved as Ohio school gets 2nd bomb threat

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio (AP) — Officials say the FBI and U.S. Secret Service have gotten involved in a bomb-threat investigation at a northeast Ohio high school.

The Akron Beacon Journal (http://bit.ly/10R9JfP ) reports that the bomb threat Monday at Cuyahoga Falls High School followed one in March. The school near Akron was closed Monday as a precaution, and nothing harmful was found during a search.

In a Facebook message to students and parents, school officials said Monday’s threat appears to have come from the same “source” as the one last month.

Superintendent Todd Nichols wrote on the social media site that he expects the consequences for the guilty party “will be much more severe than they may have been in the past.”
