Police: Pa. man threatened to post ex’s photos

OHIOVILLE, Pa. (AP) — A western Pennsylvania man has been charged with sending sexually explicit photos of his ex-girlfriend to her fiance while also threatening to post them on Facebook.

Online court records don’t list an attorney for 32-year-old Joseph Sofranko III, of New Brighton, who faces a preliminary hearing June 3 on two counts of harassment and one of stalking.

Ohioville police say a borough man who now dates Sofranko’s ex told police that Sofranko repeatedly phoned him then sent the man messages on Facebook with 11 photos of the woman attached saying, “Everyone is going to get a look at this.”

The Beaver County Times (http://bit.ly/12WPzyR ) reports the woman told police that Sofranko cannot get over their relationship, which ended more than a year ago, unless he knows she now hates him.

Sofranko doesn’t have a listed phone.
