South Range’s DeRose Dominates Springfied

South Range pitcher Carly DeRose struck out a career-high 18 batters, leading the Raiders to a 4-1 win over Springfield on Tuesday. DeRose also had a big day at the plate, finishing with a triple and two singles.

Stevie Taylor added a solo homer for the Raiders.

Sarah Moretti went 1-3, driving in a pair of runs with a two-run single in the fifth inning.

With the win, South Range improves to 14-2 overall and 8-0 in ITCL play. Springfield drops to 10-6 overall and 7-3 in league play.
