3 Philly juveniles charged in fake gun incident

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Three juveniles are facing charges after authorities say they pointed a replica handgun at people on the street in Philadelphia.

It happened in north Philadelphia on April 22 and was captured on surveillance video. Philadelphia prosecutors say the youths, ages 10, 13 and 14, pointed the fake gun at individuals on the street. Two of the youths are also accused of harassing and pointing the gun at another man at a second location.

The youths are scheduled for a detention hearing at the Juvenile Justice Services Center on Wednesday afternoon. They have been charged with harassment, disorderly conduct, possession of an instrument of a crime and conspiracy.

Their names have not been released.
