Black Educators Alliance Honors Student Achievement

The Youngstown Area Alliance of Black Educators honored nearly 100 students Thursday evening at its 18th annual Student Recognition Banquet.

The event was co-sponsored by the Associated Neighborhood Centers.

The event was held at the McGuffey Centre, 1649 Jacobs Road in Youngstown. Four students from each building of the Youngstown City Schools, and four students each from Youngstown Christian High School, Stambaugh Charter Academy, Youngstown Community School and Horizon Science Academy were honored for academic achievement.
