PITTSBURGH (AP) — More than three dozen runners who weren’t able to complete the Boston Marathon because of the deadly bombing are getting a second chance to cross the finish line.

Pittsburgh Marathon officials say the race’s big sponsor, Dick’s Sporting Goods, is footing the bill to bring 37 runners to the city so they can run on Sunday.

Dave Natale from Dick’s Sporting Goods says the runners are coming to Pittsburgh from as far away as Alaska. Natale says the retailer is also hosting a dinner for the runners on Saturday night so they can meet and share their stories.

Roughly 30,000 runners and 100,000 spectators are expected to turn out for the Pittsburgh Marathon.
