Two Arrested in Warren Drug Bust

Cocaine arrest

Two people were arrested Friday morning after a drug raid on Warren’s Southwest side.

Warren police, the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office and members of the Trumbull Ashtabula Group Law Enforcement Task Force executed a search warrant about 9:30 a.m. at 2517 Hamilton St. S.W. following a one-month investigation into drug trafficking.

Investigators seized crack, heroin, marijuana, prescription pills, prescription cough medicine, digital scales, packaging materials, $2,676 in cash and three flat-screen televisions. There were four men, two women and two children at the home during the raid, according to police.

Ronndle Lightning, 35, was arrested on charges of possession of crack and heroin, and trafficking in marijuana. Tashi Johnson, 25, was arrested on a charge of heroin possession.

Charges are pending against at least two other subjects.

Six pit bulls were removed from the premises by Warren and Trumbull County dog wardens because none of them were properly licensed, police said.
