Shoppers found themselves in the dark Saturday at the Southern Park Mall.

According to mall management, an electrical transformer near Sears malfunctioned around noon and caused Sears and nearly half of the mall to lose power.

Ohio Edison reported to the scene and expects to have power restored to most of the stores in two to three hours. They are unsure when full power will be restored to Sears.
