Man Charged in Bar Stabbing

Warren

A Warren man is facing charges that he stabbed another man in the chest with a broken glass bottle.

Steven A. Ohara, 33, of 1691 Larchmont Ave. N.E., is facing felonious assault charges for stabbing a 30-year-old Deerfield Avenue S.W. man at about 12:40 a.m. Saturday.

Reports said Ohara and Jerry J. Jones fought and Ohara stabbed him in the chest with the bottle at the Rock Bottom Bar on N. Park Avenue.  He was taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Ohara was later arrested about 40 minutes later hiding at a woman’s home at 1916 Clermont Ave. N.E.

That woman, Kristina A. Bridgens, 27, of Clermont Avenue, was arrested on charges of obstructing official business for “attempting to hinder the apprehension of Steven Ohara by harboring him at her residence,” reports said.
